Wanting to claim your Twitter posts on Technorati so you can egofeed and have people discover your tweets? It's actually not that hard.

And, instead of doing this:

You can do it much more easily.

  1. The first step is to sign up for a Technorati Account.
  2. Next, start the blog claiming process.

    Claim Twitter

  3. Next, you'll get the option for a "Post Claim" or an "Embedded Claim" to prove that you own your account. Pick "Post Claim":

    Post Claim

  4. Now, grab the URL of your claim...

    Post Claim URL

  5. ...head into your Twitter settings and paste it in your More Info URL:

    Twitter Claim

  6. Head back to Technorati and click the "Release the spiders" button:

    Release the spiders

  7. Now you can configure your claim:

    Technorati: Configure your blog

  8. Lastly, don't forget to reset your More Info URL to whatever it was before!

The End!

This doesn't work anymore, they don't want Twitter feeds on there. The twitter.com URL is now blocked, you'll get the message: "This URL has been flagged by our systems. Please read our Blog Quality Guidelines for more information."

You don't have permission to comment on this page.
